If you coach, write, host a podcast or run a club, and the people who follow you care about their health, you can share Checkup Score with them and get paid for it.
How it works
- You get your own link, like checkupscore.com/a/yourname, and a private page with your numbers.
- Anyone who signs up through it gets $20 toward a membership. Their score and first steps are free either way.
- You get $30 for each person who becomes a paying member. We pay monthly, once their first payment after any free trial is 60 days old and hasn’t been refunded or disputed, by bank transfer or PayPal. Accounts with throwaway email addresses, or a card already counted for you, don’t earn a payout.
- You see how many people visited, signed up and became members. You never see who they are or anything about their health.
Program terms
Who can join. Adults in the US, by invitation after you apply. Not doctors, nurses, pharmacists, therapists or anyone else who provides or bills for health care, or works for someone who does: we don’t pay people in a position to refer their patients.
What you’re paid for. A new account opened through your link within 60 days of the visit, whose first membership payment clears and isn’t refunded within 60 days. Only memberships count, never lab tests, visits, medicines or other services. One payout per person. If someone came through a friend’s link, the friend’s link counts instead. You can’t earn on your own account or your household’s.
Disclose it every time. Say plainly that you’re paid when people join, close to the link, in words your audience will notice, for example “I earn a commission if you join.” A hashtag at the end isn’t enough. This is what the FTC requires, and we’ll stop payouts if it’s missing.
What you can say. Your own honest experience, and what the app does: a score from established medical guidelines, next steps with their sources, and the whole family in one place. Don’t say it diagnoses, treats or prevents anything, finds disease, replaces a doctor, or is approved or endorsed by doctors, hospitals or any organization. Don’t share anyone’s health information, including your own score, unless it’s yours to share.
Where you can’t post. No paid search ads on our name, no coupon or deal sites, no spam, and no posting where the rules forbid it.
Taxes and payment. We need a W-9 before your first payout, and we send a 1099 if we pay you $600 or more in a year. We may change the payout for future sign-ups with 30 days’ notice. We may hold or cancel payouts for fraud, fake accounts or broken rules, and end anyone’s participation at any time; earned payouts that followed the rules are still paid.
